Moonlight Paddle Lobdell Lake

Our August 27th moonlight paddle will be on Lobdell Lake. Be at the DNR boat launch off Argentine Rd in time to have paddles wet by 6:30. We will kayak into Bennett Lake to see the Sand Hill Cranes fly into their nesting spot on the lake. Those who have the time and wish to extend the paddle can go on into Hoisingtion. After the paddle we will go to Cancun II in Argentine for refreshments and fellowship.

Rain is expected in the morning but the evening should be clear. Sunset is at 8:17 and a full moon moonrise is at 8:08. The evening will be cooler so dress for the weather.

As always you must have and wear a properly fitting PFD and have lights for your boat for our paddle back to the launch.
